What we collect from this website
When you request a consultation or a call back we collect your name, your postcode, whichever of your telephone number and email address you give us, and anything you choose to tell us about your property. We also record the date and time of the request.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this site. See our Cookie Notice.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your details to answer your enquiry, arrange a consultation and, if you become a client, to deliver the service. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you made of us, and thereafter the performance of our contract with you.
Who sees it
Enquiries are read by the directors of Hawthorne Household Care. Household Care Assistants see only what they need in order to attend your home. Confidentiality is a condition of working here, and we do not sell or share personal details for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become clients are kept while there is a realistic prospect of the conversation continuing, and are then deleted. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and for the period afterwards that tax and insurance require.
Photographs taken during a visit are kept for a limited period and then deleted, unless they are attached to a reported incident. They are only ever taken where you have given consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Write to hello@hawthornehouseholdcare.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
